Peak 6 Power and Gas is a Core Transport Agent (CTA) in PG&E’s Core Gas Aggregation Service. This means that we supply the physical natural gas used in your home. Your Utility will continue to read your meter, send your bill, and provide emergency service.

Who is eligible to choose Peak 6 Power and Gas?
Residential and Small Commercial customers of Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) are eligible to choose Peak 6 Power and Gas, as long as their accounts are paid-to-date and in good-standing with the Utility.
What is a Core Transport Agent (CTA)?
A Core Transport Agent (CTA) is certified by the state of California and your local Utility to supply natural gas to customers as part of the Core Gas Aggregation Service. CTA’s are held to high standards to ensure that all customers receive adequate natural gas supplies.
Can I be on Budget Billing and still use Peak 6 Power and Gas?
Absolutely! Budget Billing provides customers with a predictable natural gas bill each month instead of a bill that may be higher or lower based on the season.
Is Peak 6 Power and Gas as reliable as the Utility?
Absolutely! Peak 6 Power and Gas completed a certification process that includes meeting technical, credit, and criminal checks.
Will I receive two bills if I switch to Peak 6 Power and Gas?
No! You’ll continue to receive a single bill from the Utility and remit payment to the Utility.
Do I need to call my old supplier to let them know I’m switching to Peak 6 Power and Gas?
No. When you choose Peak 6 Power and Gas, we send your enrollment directly to the Utility. The Utility then notifies your previous supplier.
